Nashville Predators
Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks, Jan 24
Rinne had an all star game, just before he gets a break due to the all star game he yet again got snubbed from as he stopped all but one for the win. Smith scored a goal and now has a point in each of his last three games.
Pittsburgh Penguins
Pittsburgh Penguins at St. Louis Blues, Jan 24
Fleury played well stopping all but two of the 34 shots he faced, and then took the win in the shoot out. James Neal scored his 27th goal of the year on the PP, while in a super rare occurance, Malkin was left pointless.
St. Louis Blues
Pittsburgh Penguins at St. Louis Blues, Jan 24
Elliott was back in the cage and played well stopping 37 of 39, but in the end took the loss in the shoot out - luckily not the fantasy loss! Berglund had both Blues goals, as Hitchcock shook up the lines and the Stewart - berglund - Langenbrunner line really clicked.
Columbus Blue Jackets
Columbus Blue Jackets at Tampa Bay Lightning, Jan 24
Two helpers for Umberger, while Sanford was back in the cage and allowed four goals in the loss. The goalie issues are still there!
Tampa Bay Lightning
Columbus Blue Jackets at Tampa Bay Lightning, Jan 24
As usual the Lightning lines were all over the place, but rookie Mike Angelidis scored his first NHL goal. Garon hung on for the win, against the one team he is probably a safe start against.
Philadelphia Flyers
Philadelphia Flyers at Florida Panthers, Jan 24
Bobrovsky got the start and the win allowing two goals on 25 shots, but was perfect in the shoot out.
Florida Panthers
Philadelphia Flyers at Florida Panthers, Jan 24
Tough loss for Clemmensen who kept the team in it stopping 35 of 37, but in the end took the loss in the shoot out. Two helpers for Weiss in the loss befoe the break.
Buffalo Sabres
Buffalo Sabres at New Jersey Devils, Jan 24
Could Miller be turning his season around? We'll see, as he was good in this one stopping 27 of 28 for the shoot out win. Ehrhoff returned to the line up and was on the top PP unit.
New Jersey Devils
Buffalo Sabres at New Jersey Devils, Jan 24
Elias had his 18th of the year, while Brodeur allowed just one on 14, but in the end took the loss in the shoot out. Peter Harrold made his Devils debut as the 12th forward and saw some time on the second PP unit.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto Maple Leafs at New York Islanders, Jan 24
Gustavsson was back in the net for the rematch after shutting out the Isles the night before and hung on for the OT win. MacArthur had a three point game, and just might have played himself off the fourth line.
New York Islanders
Toronto Maple Leafs at New York Islanders, Jan 24
Montoya made his first start since suffering a concussion in December, and as expected was a bit rusty allowing four goals on just 21 shots. Again the Isles didn't see any PP time.
Winnipeg Jets
Winnipeg Jets at New York Rangers, Jan 24
Pavelec allowed 3 on 31 shots, while not a single Jet could beat the King.
New York Rangers
Winnipeg Jets at New York Rangers, Jan 24
Big night for the captain Callahan who had a goal and a helper, and of could King Lundqvist was perfect getting his fifth shut out of the season.
Boston Bruins
Boston Bruins at Washington Capitals, Jan 24
Rask had one he would rather forget allowing 4 goals on just 22 shots. Nathan Horton is the latest concussion sufferer, missing this game so Peverley saw time on the top line.
Washington Capitals
Boston Bruins at Washington Capitals, Jan 24
Vokoun played decent allowing three on 32, but did get the win. Perreault stepped up with the hat trick in the absence of the suspended Ovechkin.
Ottawa Senators
Ottawa Senators at Los Angeles Kings, Jan 23
Rough night for Anderson and Spezza. Anderson because he got pulled after allowing four and Auld finished off. Spezza because he took a puck to the head in warm ups, like Hall, wasn't wearing a helmet.
Los Angeles Kings
Ottawa Senators at Los Angeles Kings, Jan 23
Two helpers for Doughty who now has 6 points in December, which is encouraging after the slow start he had. Quick was again on his game, allowing just one goal in the win.
San Jose Sharks
San Jose Sharks at Edmonton Oilers, Jan 23
Couture had the Sharks lone goal in the shoot out loss, while Greiss gave Niemi the night off. Desjardins remained on the Thornton line and have 3 shots, but nowhere near the NINE Boyle had!
Edmonton Oilers
San Jose Sharks at Edmonton Oilers, Jan 23
Dubnyk was an absolute monster in net stopping 44 of 45 in regulation and coming away with the shoot out win! Eberle had the lone Oiler goal, as the top line is almost reunited now, just missing Nugent-Hopkins
Columbus Blue Jackets
Columbus Blue Jackets at Nashville Predators, Jan 23
Back to Mason in net who again failed to impress letting in a whopping 4 goals on 29 shots. Nash had the Jackets lone goal, with the helper to Vermette... add Vermette if he's out there!
Nashville Predators
Columbus Blue Jackets at Nashville Predators, Jan 23
Rinne continues to be one of the most reliable fantasy goalies allowing just one goal on 26 shots for the win and the .962 SV%. 2 assists for Erat who now has four points in his last three games, add him while he's hot!
St. Louis Blues
St. Louis Blues at Detroit Red Wings, Jan 23
Halak's 7 game winning streak came to an end in the battle for top spot, as he allowed three goals on 28 shots for the loss. Stewart had 17 minutes of PIMs and saw a bit of a demotion to the third line from Hitch.
Detroit Red Wings
St. Louis Blues at Detroit Red Wings, Jan 23
17 wins in a row now at home, as the Wings continued their dominance at the Joe in the battle for top spot. Howard allowed just one goal on 22 shots, while Datsyuk and Lidstrom both had two point games.
New York Islanders
New York Islanders at Toronto Maple Leafs, Jan 23
Nabokov played alright, but allowing three and your team not scoring once will equate to a loss. The Isles didn't see a single PP, which would be one reason for the lask of scoring.
Toronto Maple Leafs
New York Islanders at Toronto Maple Leafs, Jan 23
The Monstetr with his third shut out of the season, stopping all 25 shots and probably earning the start for Tuesday. Two goals for Lombardi, while MacArthur saw a demotion to the fourth line, definitely in Wilson's dog house.
Winnipeg Jets
Winnipeg Jets at Carolina Hurricanes, Jan 23
Due to his dominance of the canes this season, Mason got the start but took the L allowing two goals on 16 shots. Wellwood scored the lone goal, and now has 7 points in his last 5 games, add him while he's hot!
Carolina Hurricanes
Winnipeg Jets at Carolina Hurricanes, Jan 23
Huge win for Ward who stopped all but one of the 30 shots he faced for the divisional win. Skinner scored his 14th of the year, and now has a goal in his last two games, the kid is heating up!
