Be Thankful

It is the time of year to be thankful. Be thankful for a healthy and happy family. Be thankful for honest and trustworthy friends, along with the chance to give to those in need. I am thankful for hockey. Thank you Hometown Hockey and the NHL Network. This gives all of us living in the United States an opportunity to see up close the beauty and integrity of a great nation to the north. The culture and character of the citizens featured on the broadcasts is a joy to witness. Thank you Hockey Fights Cancer and all you do for the people struggling to get past the horrible disease. What it must mean to a young one to stand next to their idols during the anthem is an inspiring display. Thank you hockey for promoting family – often lost in other major sports. The positive culture in the league is quite refreshing.
