Wire Wearing Thin

As the fantasy season runs down to a month until the playoffs, choices are indeed getting thin on the waiver wire. A lot will depend on the format of your pool, weekly or daily, along with if you are currently in playoff position or need a few more victories to solidify your spot in the standings. At this point, pretty much the same streamers that have been available the last few weeks are still getting picked up and dropped while nobody seems to be stepping up to be worthy of a permanent roster add. The goalies remain interesting, with the movement of starters and backups still becoming clear as we near the fantasy playoffs. It is time to go with your gut instinct (and the schedule) and plan out the rest of your season.

Playing the waiver wire along with taking advantage of favorable schedules can boost your roster into the playoffs. Here are some free agent options that may be available in your pool:
