Yeah, I'm not sold on their goaltending at all. I thought they should have used a buyout on Pavelec this past offseason.

Yeah I agree, since his new contract and DUI he's been lackluster. Should have grabbed Markstrom off waivers...

The Jets are in a tough conference, but I see them as a surprise bubble team. Pavelec has been crap, but I see him having a good, out of the blue season. The talent is there...It's all about how the D can progress/stay healthy. Crap like: Is Bogo a bust? Are we going to be playing the Trouba? Can Enstrom stay healthy and man the point on what could be a good PP... ? Even if Evander Kane scores 35 goals and the offense sustains from last season, the glitch is on D...Don't forget Pav's play after the coaching change.

Also...The Oilers could be this seasons Avs of last year. It's going to happen soon(The Oilers Breakout), but, much like the Jets..D is an issue.

West overall

Sure fire

1. Hawks
2. Sharks
3. Blues
4. Ducks
5. Stars (I may be stretching here, but the additions up front are mondo and I'm assuming health for Lehtonen again)

Could go up or down

6. Kings (Hungover)
7. Wild( stacked team, but losing Harding keeps them from sure fire and just above the bubble)

Bubble Teams( One has to make it)

8. Oilers (could finish as high as 6th or as low as 11th)

9. Canucks
1∅. Avalanche
11. Jets

No way in hell

12. Flames( Though they're making strides)
13. Coyotes
14. Nashville
