Another issue is those prospects that are over the thresholds of 130 AB and 50 IP... they would have to be on the team or cut... I guess that is the only decisions teams would make (if they have any - I do with Ian Desmond). They would have to be called up before the season, because once the season starts, any players over the thresholds but on minor league lists automatically become free agents.

If we go the route of keeping everyone, whoever is given commish control can input the rosters and then have everyone go to waivers.

Thoughts?

The threshold is actually 150 AB or 150 games for hitters and 50 IP or 25 games for pitchers.

I'd say we trim down the farm to max. 10 players per team within the limitations. And then we can start the prospect draft.

And if we decide not to do a any sort of draft we still have to trim down the real roster to 25 since we set a 25 man roster limit on Y!.
Right now most teams have more than 25 players on the real roster due to player who were on DL at the end of last season or former farm players who exceeded the limit.

And btw. I can try and ask the Y! guy over on the Cafe if he could help us out with changing the commish. I'd ask him to make me commish and then immediatly hand over the reigns to oddmanout (who then later can give the power back to Bill). Let me know if I should.

The league is finally filled.
I finalized the teams so nobody can join or leave anymore. By doing this I'm able to enter the keepers.

We need to make a quick decision.
If we want to do a live draft I need the 20 keepers for each team asap. And we need to draft by next Sunday. So we also need to find a suitable date.
Whatever we do we need to do it quick.

And I also need the draft order. Who gets the first pick? The last team after the regular season or the last team after the playoffs or the winner of the consolation bracket? Too bad we can't look that up since we neither have the rules nor last years draft to see how tthe order was determined. And the keepers last year were entered in a random order so Y! archive is also no help.
