2010 Grey Cup

I hope it's as good as last year's, although that was an awful way to lose by the Rough Riders last year. I wanted them to win too... At least they get another shot at Montreal.

I was just going to start a post!

This should be a decent match up, if it were inside I'd say the Als without a doubt. But since the game is up in frozen Edmonton, that gives the Riders a huge edge as the cold out East is like Mexico to us Westerners.

This is tough for me to choose who to cheer for, as both are bitter rivals of my beloved (but shitty again this year) Bombers. I really don't want the Riders to get another cup before we do, so I'm going to pull for the Als.

I can see the Riders screwing up again on the last play, serves em right! haha... they even got flagged for it in the first game of the season this year and it almost cost them the game again.

Isn't it sad that I occasionally watch the CFL?

I have no connections to Canada at all, yet I still watch a few games now and then.

Apparently it's going to be close to -30 with the windchill in Edmonton this Sunday, advantage Riders!

I was at the last Grey Cup here in Winnipeg, and it was a good -20. You had to slam your beer within 10 minutes or it'd start freezing. But it was an AWESOME time. It's one of the biggest annual parties of the year in Canada, and with the stadium sold out it's going to be nuts.

On a side note, our own Luke Fritz was the CFL player who won the CFL Pepsi challenge, and gets $50,000 for Hunger for Hope here in Winnipeg. Way to go Luke! I voted for ya!

I'm picking Montreal to win 34-23.

The game is a lot lower scoring than I thought it would be so far.

Two good D's and they are playing in the freezing cold, although not as cold as it could have been.

Great game. I really wanted Saskatchewan to win... second year in a row the Rough Riders suffer a heartbreaking loss.
